Alexa Morzos BA, MA Intern
A supportive space to be real, be heard, and begin healing.
Hi, I’m Alexa—a counseling apprentice here in Colorado, currently earning my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Adams State University. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and the stress of everyday life, and I’m here to walk alongside you with honesty, care, and zero judgment.
Whether you need a space to cry, curse, laugh, or breathe—you’re safe here.
My background includes working on a crisis team, where I learned that no two people experience life the same way. I’ve seen how powerful it is to feel heard without being rushed or fixed. That’s what I strive to create in every session: a space where you feel comfortable being fully yourself.
I use a client-centered, collaborative approach to help you identify your goals and build tools that work for your life—not someone else’s. Together, we’ll find ways to navigate what’s hard and move toward what’s possible.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Northern Colorado and plan to pursue full licensure as a professional counselor.
Outside the therapy room
I’m a proud cat mom (to four spoiled furballs), a lifelong gamer (Skyrim and Stardew Valley are personal favorites), and a big fan of comedy, community, and cozy nights in. I believe humor can be healing, and I bring that spirit into my work when it fits the moment.
Taking that first step toward support is never easy—but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m really glad you’re here.
