April Strohauer, MA, LPCC

April was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado and graduated from University High School in 2011. She then went to Baylor University in Waco, Texas and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Psychology in 2015.

After being a kindergarten teacher and working in the medical field, she realized she wanted more for her career. She attended graduate school, and obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.

April’s family owns a farm growing potatoes, corn, wheat, and onions throughout Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. She has been working on the farm since finishing school and has loved being close to her family again.

April has a passion for helping people and knows how much mental health can impact one’s daily life. She aspires to become a licensed professional counselor. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem. April specializes in couples counseling and adolescents.

April accepts all Medicaid plans, Aetna, and Anthem. Her private pay rate is $100/50 minute session.
