Frequently Asked
If I'm having an emergency, can I contact you here?
If you are having an emergency, dial 911 immediately. We are not crisis counselors, so we can’t be available 24/7 like emergency responders are.
What should I expect during a counseling session?
The first session will revolve around your initial assessment, where we determine the nature of the problems you are experiencing and what actions can be taken to resolve those problems.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my counseling appointment?
Counseling sessions can be canceled or rescheduled within a minimum of 24 hours of your appointment time.
What if I have an emergency outside of our session?
Please contact the Colorado State Crisis Line by calling 988 or text 741741, call 911, or proceed to your nearest emergency room.
Are there things I can do outside of counseling to improve my mental health?
Self-care gets a bad rap, but it can be a literal life-saver. Give yourself space to decompress, and permission to feel your emotions. Self-care looks different for everyone, but some common themes are engaging in things you enjoy, taking time to relax, and setting boundaries with the people close to you.
