Helping you feel seen, supported, and stronger—one conversation at a time.
Hi, I’m April—a therapist who believes that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, struggling in your relationship, or helping a teenager manage stress and self-esteem, I’m here to walk alongside you with warmth, clarity, and care.
I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, and couples, particularly those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, communication issues, and self-worth. My approach is compassionate and down-to-earth, focused on helping you better understand yourself and build the tools you need to move forward.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a kindergarten teacher and in the medical field. I’ve seen firsthand how much mental health affects every part of life—and how powerful it is to feel truly heard. That realization led me to earn my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, and I’m currently working toward full licensure as a professional counselor.
Born and raised in Greeley, Colorado, I’ve always valued connection—to people, to place, and to purpose. These days, I split my time between therapy work and helping with my family’s multi-generational farm, which grows potatoes, corn, wheat, and onions across Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. Being close to my roots—and my family—has been a gift.
Outside of work, you can find me enjoying quiet moments with loved ones, soaking in the outdoors, or dreaming up new ways to support the people I serve.
