Yes, we can see you this week!

Counseling for Fort Collins| telehealth first, Greeley in person

Fort Collins has no shortage of therapists. It has a shortage of therapists who can see you quickly and take your insurance. We're a Colorado practice based in Greeley, about forty minutes east, in-network with Aetna, Anthem, United, and every Colorado Medicaid plan; no six-month waitlist. Most of Fort Collins sees us by telehealth: same therapist, no drive. And when the drive is worth it, the Greeley office is a short drive.

You don't have to have it figured out before you reach out. Most people don't. Sorting out what's actually going on is the first thing we do together, not something you finish first.

What we work with

Anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, the relationship that's been quietly dying, the family that can't get through a dinner, parenting you don't agree on, substance use, the identity question you've been circling for years, the job that's eating you. Some people come with one clear thing. Most come with a knot.

We see adults, couples, families, teens, and kids — in Fort Collins and anywhere else in Colorado.

How we work

We're trained in the standard evidence-based approaches, and we use them when they fit. What we won't do is hand you a worksheet and call it treatment. When sitting still wasn't working, we've done EMDR through movement. When the room was the problem, we've held sessions outside — wherever the work needed to go. The method serves you, not the other way around.

Your consultation is with the person who will be your therapist, not an intake coordinator who hands you off to a stranger later. And your first session is a conversation, not two hours of intake questions.

Frequently asked

Do you have an office in Fort Collins? Our office is in Greeley, about forty minutes from most of Fort Collins. Plenty of our Fort Collins clients never make the drive — telehealth is the same therapist and the same depth, minus the commute — and you're welcome in person whenever you'd rather. Come in, stay home, or mix the two, and switch whenever it suits you.

Does telehealth actually work? For most of what people come to therapy for, yes — and the research backs it. If your situation is one where in-person is genuinely the better fit, we'll tell you so honestly.

Can you see me this week? Usually, yes. That's rather the point. No months-long waitlist, and your first consult is with your actual therapist.

Do you take my insurance? Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare and Optum, and every Colorado Medicaid plan, plus a sliding scale for private pay. You can check your actual per-session cost in about thirty seconds — no phone call, no callback queue.

What if my Medicaid lapses? We don't bill you, and we don't drop you. A case manager walks you through reinstating it, and as long as you're working the process with us, you keep your therapist and your sessions.
