Counseling Services Loveland Colorado

Book a free consultation

We're a Colorado practice based in Greeley, right next door to Loveland, close enough that plenty of our Loveland clients just come in. If you're on the near side it's about fifteen minutes; from the far edge it's closer to forty, and for that we've got telehealth, same therapist, no drive. Come in, stay home, or mix it, whatever works, and you can switch whenever it suits you.

You don't have to have it figured out before you reach out. Most people don't. Sorting out what's actually going on is the first thing we do together, not something you finish first.

What we work with

Anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, the relationship that's been quietly dying, the family that can't get through a dinner, parenting you don't agree on, substance use, the identity question you've been circling for years, the job that's eating you. Some people come with one clear thing. Most come with a knot.

We work with adults, couples, families, teenagers, and kids, across Loveland and anywhere else in Colorado.

How we work

We're trained in the evidence-based approaches and we use them when they fit. We're not going to hand you a worksheet and call it treatment. If sitting still isn't working, we've done EMDR through movement. If the room is the problem, we've held sessions outside, at the forge, wherever the work actually wanted to go. The method serves you, not the other way around.

Your consultation is with the person who will be your therapist, not an intake coordinator who hands you to a stranger later. Your first session is a conversation, not two hours of intake questions.

Frequently asked

Do you have an office in Loveland? Our office is in Greeley, which for a lot of Loveland is a short hop, fifteen minutes or so from the near side, closer to forty from the far edge. If you're further out or you'd just rather not drive, we see Loveland clients by telehealth with the same therapist. Come in, stay home, or mix it.

Does telehealth actually work? For most of what people come in for, yes, and the research backs it. Same therapist, same depth, minus the commute. For some situations in-person is a better fit, and we'll tell you honestly if we think yours is one of them.

What do you treat? Individuals, couples, and families, across anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationships, parenting, substance use, and life transitions. If you're not sure your thing fits, reach out, it probably does.

How long does it take? Depends on what you're carrying. Some people are done in a handful of sessions, some come longer. We check in on progress out loud and we won't keep you past the point of usefulness.

Do you take my insurance? Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare and Optum, and every Colorado Medicaid plan, with a sliding scale for private pay. Check your actual per-session cost in about thirty seconds, no phone call.

What if my Medicaid lapses? We don't bill you and we don't drop you. We have a case manager who walks you through reinstating it, and as long as you're working the process with us, you keep your therapist and your sessions.
